Avery Collins is a Catholic singer-songwriter based out of New Orleans. She studied Music at the University of North Texas with an emphasis in classical voice. She seeks to write raw, honest, and vulnerable music drawn from silence and prayer which relates to the human soul. She draws much inspiration from the writings of the saints, especially St. John of the Cross. Her soothing and lovely melodies and lyrics are intended to be a soundscape for an invitation to prayer and a deeper encounter with Christ.
